    What data we collect

    To generate a Vedic birth chart, the app collects your full name, email address, date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth. We also store the latitude and longitude derived from your place of birth to compute precise planetary positions. If you use the AI chat or guidance features, we store your chat messages and the generated interpretations so you can revisit them later.

    How we use your data

    Birth data is used solely for astrological calculations: Lagna, house placements, Nakshatras, Vimshottari Dasha, Shadbala, transits, compatibility, and Muhurta windows. AI interpretations are generated from the chart data you provide. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising profiles outside the VEDIQ AI ecosystem.

    Calculation and storage

    Planetary positions are computed locally in the browser using the astronomy-engine ephemeris with Lahiri ayanamsha. Chart records, chat history, and user account data are stored in Supabase with Row Level Security enabled. Your data is associated with your authenticated account and is not publicly accessible.

    Retention and deletion

    We retain your chart data and chat history as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email address below. Account deletion will remove your birth charts, chat messages, and saved predictions from our active systems.
